PDF2PPT-Acrobat Free

This edition PDF2PPT bases on pdftoppm(part of xpdf) that developed two years ago, so it does not need Adobe Acrobat any more, I release it today just for friends who want to convert PDF document to powerpoint(PPT), but do not has Adobe Acrobat.

It has no GUI, but a command line version.

Download now pdftoppt0.1-20070126(1015K).

I am sorry, I am not understanding the format. Do we type “pdf2ppt pdf-filename”? Can you give an exact example, especially if the hyphens are meant to be spaces? I never use the dos window, so I have no idea of what needs to be typed.

    run in command “pdf2ppt pdf-filename ppt-filename”

It worked very well for me. Thanks for providing this simple utility.

    Start, Run, CMD
go to directory where pdf2ppt.exe is stored. Best to have the pdf file in the same directory
    Type pdf2ppt .pdf .ppt
    Hit Enter

If you have powerpoint open in the background, you will see the foils being created. Warning – the powerpoint is a set of pictures, may not be able to copy selectively from this ppt to another

Thank you ! It worked really fine for me. The text part was treated as an image but I do not mind as one can read it with the same comfort as the original PDF file.

Worked perfect here as well. Last comment was very helpful. Put the file you want to convert in the same directory. Then open that directory in cmd
    Type the command.
    And the file is converted
Thanks a lot for posting ….

Hey I don’t understand how to use this program in DOS.

    ”Start, Run, CMD
go to directory where pdf2ppt.exe is stored. Best to have the pdf file in the same directory
    Type pdf2ppt .pdf .ppt
    Hit Enter”

How do I go to the directory where pdf2ppt.exe is stored? Do i go through windows explorer or go using DOS?

    File made correctly.

I’m not sure if this is how it’s supposed to operate, but figured I’d let you know anyway =)
